Getting to Reno by rail
The Reno Amtrak station is a five-minute walk from the Colloquium/AG hotels; it's staffed and open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week. Of the three Nevada stations served by Amtrak, Reno was the busiest in 2010, serving an average of 190 passengers daily. Look for the lobby display of historical items found on site during a recent renovation.
Reno is a stop on Amtrak's California Zephyr line, reported to be one of the most beautiful train trips in all of North America. The Zephyr runs daily between Chicago and San Francisco.
